Memorario privacy

Memorario (this site and the app at /app/) is a Facilon brand, run by Alberto Curcio Linares (Costa Rica). Contact: support@esfacilon.com. Memorario was previously called Historiario.

Answers stay on the phone

Everything written in the app (name, answers, recipes, dedication, title) and the photos are stored only on that phone, inside the browser. Nothing is sent to our servers: we can’t see it and we can’t recover it. The PDF book and the backup (.zip) are also created on the phone. If the browser data is cleared or the phone is lost without a backup, the answers are gone.

Photos

Photos you pick are resized and compressed on the phone itself and stored there. We don’t upload them anywhere.

Voice dictation

When you tap “🎤 Talk”, the app uses the browser’s built-in speech recognition (for example Google’s in Chrome or Apple’s in Safari). Depending on the browser, that service may process the audio on its servers, under its own privacy policy. Memorario never receives or stores the audio: only the text remains, on the phone. If you prefer, type or use your keyboard’s microphone.

Buying the full book

Once purchases are available, payment is handled by Creem (creem.io), our reseller. We receive a random purchase code, the order number, the product and the amount. So you can restore the purchase on another phone, we keep a one-way hash (SHA-256) of the email you paid with, not the email itself. We never receive your card details. The book’s answers are never sent.

Analytics and cookies

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and only shows anonymous totals. The site uses a few technical cookies to remember your language (me_lang, me_choice, me_geo, me_paylang). No ads, no tracking.

Earlier waitlist

If you joined the Historiario waitlist, we keep your email, language, your optional answer and the date, only to let you know once about the launch. You can ask us to delete it anytime.
